I attempted to engrave two tone acrylic, and was noticing some shadowing affects. Maybe the lens is dirty?

Settings were 500 mm/s @ 15% power. Images attached of what the it should look like (gold template) vs. current engraving test (silver template).

Thanks for reporting this.

Apparently Donner consistently has this problem as these five other posts have reported similar issues, but not everyone is using Issues & Requests so there may be some duplication.

Donner not cutting

Donner is flaming on wood and lots of smoke. Etches are very faint. [20231202_141409]

Donner Cleaning

Hi, I was doing some cutting last night on Donner and had to bring down the speed much lower than I normally would’ve needed (I can generally cut my 0.08" thick wood between 100-300 speed, but needed to go down to ~30 to cut some similarly thick acrylic. I think the mirrors just may need to be cleaned. Thanks,

Why are there extra lines

Donner is making extra lines (shadowing) at various times. These are deeper than I’ve seen them before. [IMG_7927] [IMG_7926]

Thank you John! I didn’t realize other’s were having the same/similar issues. I had no issues engraving and cutting out when I switched to Blitzen.
