The last meeting held at the 'Space had very little turnout, so our next meeting will be held via Google Hangouts on Sunday, April 12th, 4 PM - 5 PM to discuss the 3D Fab Committee Chairperson appointment, as well as other items that 3D Fab Members wish to discuss.
I would be honored to continue as 3D Fab Chair. I feel I’ve done a lot for the 3D Fab Committee and would like to continue working in the role of Chairperson over the committee. This meeting is for 3D Fab Members to vote on whether I should continue, or if someone else should be voted in to do the work.
Feel free to post suggestions for 3D Fab Chairperson appointments within this thread (whether you prefer me to continue, want to step up to have a go at it yourself, or want to nominate someone else to give it a go…). All discussion within this thread will be considered casual conversation of the topic. Anyone who wants to be considered will be added to the vote during the actual Google Hangout Meeting from 4 PM - 5 PM on Sunday, April 12th.
If you wish to participate in the Google Hangout meeting, please add yourself to the 3D Fab Committee Roster under 3D Fab General Members located on the wiki: https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/3DFab-Members-RolesAndAuthorizations#3D_Fab_General_Members; then send me a message via Google Hangouts with the Google ID you wish to use for the meeting.
NOTE: If you do not already have a Gmail account, you can create an account to use for this and other online Google Hangout meetings (in other words, it doesn’t have to be the e-mail address you normally use - as long as I know you are an active DMS member).
Please send me the Gmail / Google account information that you want to use at least an hour prior to the meeting, to make sure I have time to “add” you to the Hangout for the meeting. (This will be a separate Hangout from the regular 3D Fab discussion hangout, so please be sure to let me know that you want to join in on the “April 12th 3D Fab Committee Meeting Hangout”.)
