I’m reasonably certain that we have stocked various transfer tape depending on who bought it, what was in stock, current pricing, and so on.
I don’t know what’s there right now, but here are two posts where people have posted specific suggestions:
I get mine from signwarehouse.com because they’re located in Sherman TX, so shipping is quick.
(and only ten bucks, which isn’t bad considering the weight and bulk of some rolls)

@PearceDunlap I just got an email from Denver Sign Supply with a discount on their TransferRite Ultra transfer tape. Mention Flyer E50 to receive the sale price. 48" logs of Low Tack #560U, Medium Tack #582U, and High Tack #592U are $137 and 60" logs are $171. You can specify how you want the log slitted in the notes during checkout for no additional charge.
The one time I bought it I got this from GSG (but it’s high tack which is a little harder to use)
@talkers sometimes recommends using clear Contact paper in a pinch.

@John_Marlow Chris, you are so awesome to do the deep research. And you do it so often. Thank you.
Mileage may vary. Even with the same brand and type. But worth trying for a $1 at Dollar Tree

My husband, who used to work at signwarehouse, told me to use masking tape. (I don’t need clear, pretty… Just functional)
