Hey everyone!
So many fantastic responses to this concept! Good news, I am actually doing it, but I have changed the focus to be a bit broader so that it’s more inclusive for different types of artists. Sound will be a big focus in my series of courses. Taking @kthompson395 's words into consideration, I have decided that a series of classes will be more successful at meeting each person where they are at the beginning of the course. Check out my outline thus far here: Class Series: Interactive Installations (II). I will keep everyone posted in regards to the timeline. I’m working on gathering some guest speakers as well. It will be a series of classes with projects that fit together into exhibition pieces. This way if someone wants to focus on Sound Design, Songwriting, or Game Design, this is welcomed rather than manipulated. Visuals will be of course encouraged but not necessarily always required. More individual direction and exploration will be allowed within this format. Please stay tuned!
