I’m still working on setting up neon bending at DMS. I finally got most of the burners dialed in last night.

Quick and easy horse lunge whip repair. The lunge whip was nearly severed at the tip, so I cut off the frayed end, removed about 4” of the fiberglass core from the flexible part, and cut back the sheath on the stiff handle portion a comparable amount.

A little E6000 flexible glue and some heat shrink tubing and the whip is back in service (I hope).

Laser fume extraction upgrade. One of the biggest issues at monthly cleaning up was removing the fume extraction couplings on the back of the machines every month, then re-taping them they always needed to be reattached a few days later. . This process damaged the flex pipe and shorten its lifespan. Everyone please Thanks to Matt @BirdPerson who did the design and cad work and Steven @smriddiough who took on the 3D printing. Both of them had to rework the design and print multiple times. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the issues In order to come up with a Working prototype.

I want to also add it was awesome working with these guys… they said the could do the work and they Did it and got it done. That is so refreshing.

This is going to make moving the machine for clean up way easier.

Brilliant design. Maybe a patent and a new resale opportunity has presented itself. Great job to all who helped and thank you.

I built a pair of Troels Gravesen speakers for a friend on the CNC. (The innards were provided him.) Baltic birch plywood finished with Osmo oil. I used the laser to burn our signatures on the terminal panels of both speakers.

Walnut crotch from the pith offcut. I cut the pith out, squared each side and glued them together. Approximately 13"x1.5"

We have been busy in Jewelry with a casting class as well as a casting workshop. Here is a sample of our recent casting session. Some bronze and one silver piece. These pieces have minimal clean up, so now the fun begins.
