NextEngine ScanStudio Needs Update

Hey all (by which I mean specifically @LisaSelk and/or @themitch22)! I was on the NextEngine scanner today and got a popup prompting for their updated software. It promises “advanced algorithms for more powerful, accurate & faster scan processing.” If any of that is true we should try to get it. I would have downloaded it myself, but I don’t have the password to unlock Deep Freeze, so it would be a fruitless gesture XD

Correction, I have the file downloaded @ “O:\3dfab\ScanStudio UPDATE”. Just needs an install without Deep Freeze. Thanks!

I’m trying to encourage members to start using the ticket system for requests and issues, etc…
If you get a chance, please log a ticket for this. It will help track changes we make, as well as serve as a reminder to me to update the software!

Who do I contact for...?

Something is broken. Who do I report it to? We are out of (soap / printer toner / toilet paper / solder / super glue / etc…). Who do I contact to have more purchased? How do I request a color of ABS filament be purchased to use in the 3D printers? What about … ??? We now have a one stop answer for all those issues, requests, and more! Just open a ticket and describe the issue / request in detail (pictures can be attached to the ticket); and, the ticket will be forwarded to the correct group/p…
