I haven’t had a bunch of time but I’m looking at some spaces to go to next. List up some maker-type spaces that you know of. I couldn’t find the one in Oak Cliff that I had read about possibly 8 months ago. I’m not as hip as you guys talk it up. Specifically Dallas Area. We will get a long list together and cull down to make it manageable. @Coul@Robert_Davidson do you guys have any to list.

Just to make things a bit easier to start planning I’m going to put down a tentative “pulled out of the air” date of February 3rd got a heads up on a social stop by @brsims (resident beer not-so-snobby but still has good taste) to a place called Petiolas which I don’t know but I trust the source.
Peticolas is amazing, best brewery in Dallas in my opinion. They only distribute to DFW, they don’t bottle/can because they want the quality to be the same every time you have their beer, and they can’t control how vendors manage the cans/bottles. The owner/founder is a lawyer and he has been one of the driving forces behind lots of the positive changes for the beer community in Texas the last few years. I would vote them as a fun social stop.
There may be more down here, Bishop Arts has sparked a huge inters’i
the arts over here, Both the Texas and Kessler theaterue are performing’arts
venues, and some say the Kessler is the best in the city foe small concerts
Ok guys I have a few places lined up for the maker crawl. With Petiolas loosing it’s occupancy and me starting a new semester, and to have some time to build this thing up. I think it might work better to push the date back of the crawl to Feb 24th. But I’m waiting to hear back from the places to lock in a date and a timeframe.
I’m currently debating an early morning adventure vs late night adventure. With all the places inside of Dallas I think it’s going to be a few trips to cover (Continental told us Feb is a no-go with them) Specifically this would be for people who would take the bus - if you drive yourself you can get in and drop out whenever you would like. But people are locked in if they go with the bus unless they uber home or something.
Early morning to mid-afternoon (9-3p)
Mid-morning to late afternoon (1-7p)
Late evening to afternoon (4-11p)

To do:
lock in the date (by the 12th hopefully)
get it on the calendar
rental on the bus finished
deposit down with the bar for the room (ps this is cashed in for pizza)
poster/pr reach out to other makers in dallas/denton
facebook event
meetup event via DMS account
order for pizza in
Collect $ for bus via the system
make t-shirts to give away
Pull the date into the early Feb time frame! The first date that you proposed would be great! Once March rolls around, things really get busy (SXSW, Spring Break, Florida Expedition, Columbia Expedition, …).
I hear you - my personal time conflicts and also just getting the word out. Also, the meet up is dependent on the fire marshals lift to meet at the brewery sooooo… I’m just waiting to hear back.
I also hear you volunteering to help me with this event! You up for the challenge? I’m sure you are. When can you meet or should we just talk via PM to get things knocked out. I’ll send you a message and we can get started. #howitsdone
