I’m curious what sort of freeware is available for nesting .dxf files to cut on the PlasmaCam. I am capable of laying each part out in AutoCAD and manually creating a nest but that’s a good bit of work.
I would like to be able to import a list of .dxf files, a sheet size, and cutter diameter and generating a dxf of all the input shapes layer out efficiently and within the sheet size.
you can do the nesting in VCarve Pro and then export the vectors to a dxf file.
of course you’ll have to have taken the cnc router course to get access to VCP.
