EufyMake Update and Classes this week

Hello all! The iPad is now out on a stand next to the one in NorthFlex for anyone that is trained on it.

For anyone interested in learning and gaining access, there are spots in the classes for Thursday and Saturday:

Thursday at 7 pm: Eufymake UV Resin Printer | Dallas Makerspace Calendar

Saturday at 10 am: Eufymake UV Resin Printer | Dallas Makerspace Calendar

Saturday at 1 pm: Eufymake UV Resin Printer | Dallas Makerspace Calendar

Quick reminder about usage:
Please do not release the EufyMake from the [email protected] email address. Doing so prevents Eufy from troubleshooting and diagnose problems that we’re having with the machine. Please leave the iPad signed into the demo room email address.

Any questions around the hardware configuration, please direct to IT. Thanks!

Any update on when the pc will be available? The desktop app is better for things like fine tuning image placement and previewing jobs.

Hi all! I’ve got some projects that I have coming up that are going to require using the Eufy and want to make sure that I know what to do when the time comes to change out ink. I’ve taken the class in order to use the machine but wanted to make sure who I need to contact for an ink change or what I need to do there when the time comes thank you! @mstreet for visibility.

Hi @E.k.ricks, the machine will tell you the amount of ink that it will need for each print. Please do not start a print if one of the cartridges is below 10% as it is likely that it may not be able to complete if you’re planning on a very long print. We’re trying to keep them fairly high on the levels, but sometimes folk slip in a few large prints back to back.

@Team_Logistics and the Eufy teachers are the ones that are authorized to change the inks out at this time. Please post an Issues and Request on Talk to get them changed and someone will try to get to it as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we’re all volunteers and may not be onsite for an immediate change, but we’ll try our best :slight_smile:

Megan, I am interested in the Eufy roto attachment, do we have an estimate when a class will be posted?

Unfortunately work is consuming my life for a bit, but the good news is that you can find the attachment in the north lobby classroom under the cloth cover. Please feel free to use the instructions here and you should be able to print directly. eufyMake support

Hi all! @mstreet or anyone that knows. What’s the most appropriate thread to report ink being out for the eufy? White cartridge is in need of a change.

@Team_Logistics I think they said is in charge of changing ink for now

First, you link your “Talk” account to your DMS account [Instructions here: Green Dot - Process Change - 9/20/2024 - Enacted - Member Profile System is Now Required]

Once you do that, you will have access to the “Member’s Only” areas of the forum. From there, you post the “low ink” (or any other issue/failure/request) in the “Issues & Requests” category (there is a simple template that you fill out).
