@aza993a, I don’t know who you are, but you’ve read a whole lot of BS from a few paragraphs that don’t pertain to the issue this thread was discussing.

Just because a few members want to store their own alcohol for personal consumption doesn’t equate to serving alcohol to anyone. We are not a “Commercial Host” when it comes to alcohol… that would be a bar or a restaurant, a business that obtains financial benefit from selling alcohol.

We are mostly adults here, and adults who are drinking here are not doing “production” work. If, in the unlikely event that you happen to see anyone drinking and then working with power tools, then tell them to stop. Our rules already cover that. See Rules and Policies - Dallas Makerspace sections 2 and 11.

I’ll generally disagree with locking threads. I’d rather not have new threads started when the info is all in one. The sentiment is shared though.
