[RESOLVED] Far Lefty not connecting

Far Lefty off network. Turning off/on, reset button etc. will not connect.

Thank you for letting us know. Please in the future use the support email address written on the printers [email protected] to inform the support team of printer issues, as not all of us read the talk forums regularly.

Also, we’re getting electrical work done in the fab room. Some / all of the printers may be offline at some point until the work is completed.

As Sean stated… Thanks for taking the time to report the issue! Please do use the [email protected] e-mail address in the future though - to ensure a more timely response.

With the electricians working on the power in the building - including the 3D Fab Room - all week, we have been advising against using the 3D printers / equipment during the hours that the electricians are actually working at the 'Space.

I can see that Far Lefty is connected and have noticed it printing several times since you originally posted about it, so whatever the issue was at that time has been resolved.

Be aware that the electrical work is STILL not complete, so we have one more day of downtime for the 3D printers. I will post in the thread about the electrician being on site, once the daytime use of the 3D printers is no longer restricted. Here is a link to that thread:

NOTE: The electrician is at the Space today (and possibly tomorrow, too)… Good news is: We’ll have more outlets in 3D Fab soon! Bad news is: The electrician will be working in the room (and in others areas at the Space) which means intermittent power outages while he works on circuits in (and connected to) the 3D Fab Room ~ which means no 3D printing until he’s done. No ETR at this time… let’s just be safe and say they’ll be down all day (and possibly tomorrow). I’ll post an update …
