Zing file type question

Does anyone know why the zing would not be able to read a file that is originally a .DXF in solidworks, then brought into inkscape and saved off as a .pdf? I’m having trouble getting the laser to read files like this with both raster and vector type applications…

I haven’t ever had problems creating useful, simple cut lines within inkscape and exporting as .pdf, but for this particular project, using solidworks is easier for the geometry i need.

In theory, that would work. DXF is a funky format, and Inkscape can be tricky with it.

Shoot me the files please.

A possibility: Does an entire layer’s elements appear to be missing? If so, select the layer and look in two places for the Opacity setting. Both must be set at 100. One setting is in the right hand panel; the other in the lower left corner. Here’s an image of mismatched Opacity settings.
