Is that at typo?
I’m finding 1938, but not 1936…

  1. Disney’s Beauty & the Beast (preferably LaserDisc release–it was the best)
  2. Terminator 1 & 2 (I know that’s 2, but you’ve gotta see both of them or neither counts; all others are optional)
  3. The Godfathers 1 and 2 (again, you gotta see both or neither counts; the 3rd is optional)
  4. The Sound of Music ('tis the season…)

Bullitt

'tis indeed. Yippee ki yay…

  1. Life is Beautiful (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118799/) omg let’s watch it and cry our eyes out. Soooooo touching I’m getting weepy just thinking about it.
  2. Amelie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0211915/?ref_=nv_sr_1) music of my life and because the art direction is sooooooo strong and that rock skipping scene is everything film should be
  3. Toys (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105629/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) everything out it everything
  4. My Left Food (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097937/?ref_=nv_sr_1) because again it’s good to cry.
  5. Royal Tenenbaums (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265666/?ref_=nm_knf_i3) because Wes is heart

Man, that’s a bunch of white people in movies…interesting

Basically any movie that’s come out in the last 6 years I haven’t seen. That plus no TV makes me culturally void.
I want to go see Moonlight (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4975722/?ref_=nv_sr_1)

Life is Beautiful was rough…

I felt like I needed therapy after that. It’s been years and I’m not kidding I have goosebumps right now thinking about it.

possibly last one

  • Big Fish (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319061/) I watched this right after my father passed away and I found it touching and soul shattering. It was a not so perfect thing at a difficult time which was a concoction I just needed to drink down.

My list of favs:

Anything James Bond because the world should be so simple: evil vs good.
Anything Tolkien because his books are amazing
Anything with John Wayne, especially his war movies
Mars - the movie because someday I hope we travel there
Sophie’s Choice or Shindler’s list because we should never forget the atrocities committed in WWII

Would like to see:

Rogue One - I know it is a cop out to want to see a future flick

Jaws, good choice! The book was soooo different though (I know this is a cliché)

LOL Yes! The book is fantastic, i keep it nearby on my bookshelf
