I have 2-3 people who are interested in a woodworking class and getting checked off on the machines. We’re willing to pay extra for the class to be on a Saturday, preferably in the evening. I will be monitoring TALK, but feel free to text me at 469-631-1282 so that we can get this set up.
Include me in on this. I just signed back up for my membership and ready to roll.
How much does the class cost?
The scheduled classes are $10 a head which goes to the woodshop budget for sandpaper, wood for the classes and such. I usually post 3 classes a month for woodshop intro/safety as a way to give back for all of the information others have given me.
I do, on occasion, do private classes but try hard to push people to scheduled classes. Going to the makerspace costs me about $12 with tolls and gas, and my personal project time is limited so doing extra classes cuts into my pinball machine restoration time. Am willing, but not actively looking for any private sessions
