Woodshop ducting

So I’ve offered before but at the time wasn’t really useful cause the move and we were just gonna redo it in the new shop, but since I come in later when theres no real use, if ok with woodshop leadership id like to re tape a lot of the joints in the ducting cause there are some that are barley holding on so we’re loosing a lot of suction through them, all I’d need is the ok from you guys, the “Home Depot” style ladder we used to use for personal storage and a role of ducting tape and i can knock it out tonight along with hopefully the laguna but depending on how the machine gods decide to smile on me that might take a day or a couple, but the ducting I can definitely knock out tonight

If you want to do something quickly, you probably should contact the leadership team(s) in charge of that area and/or the HVAC system by tagging them appropriately. Or maybe even open a request in the Issues and Requests area.

The leadership wouldn’t be hvac??? Why would hvac have any leadership over the dust collector in the wood shop??? I did however post it in the woodshop category and I didn’t tag anyone cause there’s a bunch of people who can give the ok, and didn’t want to tag that many people so I posted it here in the woodshop category

By simply tagging @Team_Woodshop everyone that needs to weigh in on if this is ok is alerted. This way they get an email in case they aren’t actively checking Talk.

Bring it up at the next woodshop meeting this Saturday. Several other members just went through and taped up 90% of the system so I’m not sure why it needs to be done again so soon.

Just look at the joint between the 2 sanders and it will be very apparent why, no clue how it got like that if they went through it so recently but it’s literally just a pipe sitting in the hole of another pipe

I wasn’t saying I wanna redo it I just wanna patch someone holes so I don’t think it’s worthy of an agenda at the meeting
