WIKI: Lecture Hall Presentation Guide

The wiki is our one true source of information about the space.
In an effort to keep the wiki up to date, this volunteer opportunity is being offered.

Update the Lecture Hall Presentation Guide, categorize it and link it where appropriate.

I posted a list of some things below. Pictures would be great too.

Not “questions” so much as fodder for the project:

File form of same info:

should probably be updated @ the same time

It is linked here:
https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/Classroom
might be “the right place”…might not…

The “what links here” “tool” in the left-hand menu may prove useful:

@Draco As far as I know, this is reasonably up-to-date and appears to be linked and categorized appropriately, such that I don’t think I can do any justice to “make it better”. It’s certainly possible the info is out of date and I don’t know (which would, of course, be the point of this exercise)…

:+1: Godspeed to anyone who takes this on and does manage to improve it!

Just a few

  • We do not use an Epson Remote
  • The screen stays down all the time now
  • I’m not sure HDMI 3 is the computer as many ports have gone bad
  • We shouldn’t unplug the cable or mess with the cables in the back of the reciever
  • I’m not sure the VGA dongle works as described
  • There is no adapters box that I have seen. Perhaps we need one. And a remotes box
  • Each of these needs to be checked
  • I have not seen an Android adapter ever. We use chromecast from android

Classroom/Education is the correct place. @jast
