Wiki Feature Test

So I noticed under the after making a post there is a :wrench: icon which allows you to turn your post into a WIKI post.

Popped over to the Discourse Forum and found that this allows your post to be edited by all logged in users. So I want to test this. I have a list at the bottom of this post, Please add your name to the list if you can edit my post. To edit the post you click the “this post is a Wiki” icon on the top right corner of the post.

List of names:

  1. Nick
  2. Nick Edit 1
  3. Walter
  4. Mat (granted Makerspace Member badge if you want to change your title)
  5. Other Nick
  6. Cary
  7. Chris (aka John Marlow)

other edit: simultaneous editing does funny things

Nice job @wandrson it works.
@uglyknees, your next to do list can be left editable so members can claim tasks, I’ll turn my post on your thread editable as well. CA Notes from Last Nights Meeting

Nice @Kentamanos and @MathewBusby

Also you can back click through all the edits and who made them.
Pretty neat feature.

Anyone else find it funny that it looks like I’m talking to myself?

Interesting Warning Message at bottom of screen shot.

I added that “warning” when I noticed I accidentally overwrote Kent’s “redacted” name edit.

Edit: that accidentally overwrite was a product of our concurrent edit… He hit save first, so when I hit save it overwrote it.

wanted to see if normal people see wrench icon and when.
Yep. Gotta click the ellipses “more menu” button thingy, but there it is, right there.
Thank you!

Hmm. Is there a way to make it a “wiki post” right from the get-go?
Doesn’t seem so from my experience so far…
