Yes, I bought a new handle to replace the old one. Did it not get installed? (I rarely use that machine, and never without the splitter.)

No that’s what I’m saying there was talk of getting an aftermarket splitter with a shield cover, which isn’t needed but when you said it was installed that’s the only thing I could think you were referencing but no the splitter is perfectly fine I just couldn’t think of any other mods that had been talked about
I thought you put on the new splitter handle?
I was referring to the shark guard that we were talking about getting but I could never find where it was to instal it and then we just ended up rebuilding the one that we have now
The new shark guard came in, and I left it on the sharpening table many months ago. I thought it had been installed. Will have to poke around the area to see if it’s still around.
