Is anyone having the file format , check file version issue. This started yesterday, and seems to happen on my local copy and the RDP copy.
As far as I know, that problem can happen on any version and any machine, even on a one you’ve just created the file on, and reopened right after.
Preferred solution, IMHO, is licensing Lightburn on the DMS PCs

I started using LightBurn and it’s far and away the better software.
so how does that work, you lightburn files with the lasers at DMS?
Yes. I use Lightburn instead of RDWorks. It simplifies my workflow because Lightburn doesn’t require that I use Adobe Illustrator as an intermediate step. It imports DXF* files directly. It connects to the lasers just like RDWorks does but has a cleaner interface and I find it more intuitive to use.
*I use Solidworks for my parts design and DXF is the simplest way for me to export shapes. YMMV.
ok so are you bringing your own pc and connecting to the lasers yourself?
No, I’m using the space computers with my own LightBurn license.
ok so your using it on the PC’s next to the lasers, you downloaded it to your RDP desktop, licensed it, then just connected it to the laser?

It works on Donner and big thunder as is!
It should work on blitzen, but I’m a lazy person and still haven’t managed to get it running.

Keeping the Lasers functioning is not the mark of laziness.
