What SIG's (special interest groups) meet ups/ groups do we have at the space?

You are right… not very active on Talk. In the past I enquired about updating the Photography Interest Group - Dallas Makerspace page but could not find/get access to it.

We do have a FB closed group here Redirecting.... We are meeting once a month and the SIG is slooowly coming together.

We should fix this. What was/wasn’t happening? It should require your DMS domain creds, and Stan and/or Luke can probably get it going in short order.

@zmetzing and @sciborg as interested party and group leader respectively would be good contacts on this.

Thanks for the tip, I didn’t know I could do it. I found a way to login I was able to start editing. I’ll add some things and not remove anything yet… I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. Thanks again.

****UPDATE **** I see that to edit this group I need access. I understand you were probably referring to this…

No. Sorry. I was referring to the wiki link you posted.
I know nothing about Google Groups… I’d refer you to Stan on that, since, based on the URL, it does appear to use Dallasmakerspace.org.

EDIT: actually, I was able to log in to Google with my DMS domain creds, and can see the forums @ the URL as in your screencap, and it shows you and Stan have conversed (test messages) therein on Feb 27 and 28.

Ok, I knew I had tried this before… still confused on why I couldn’t login this morning. I think that’s why I opted for a FB group, much easier for me and some of the other members that have FB accounts. I’ll try to login again but in the meantime, thank you again.

Large Format SIG is tentatively resuscitated. We are meeting before the board meeting on the 22nd to set up our plan going forward.

We also have a Historical Arms, Armor & Martial Arts SiG under Hatcher’s Armory.

I also have a Software Development Meetup that generally happens on Sundays.
