What is this and how do I use it

Is this underglaze, glaze, dried clay, and how would I go about putting it on a piece?

Sorry, I wasn’t there today. I may go later this week but I’m not sure yet. I found this container on the shelf to the left of the glazes so I assume it’s glaze of some kind

It is dried glaze chips. There are pics on Pinterest and Instagram on how folks have used it. I did post on Talk when when we first put it out as well.

New Glaze Technique Available

Hi all, Based upon a conversation I had at the space and some information I found on Pintrest and Facebook we now have something new to try. All of the old dried out glaze bottles i have pulled the glaze chips out and put them in a plastic container near our glaze rack. I tried the technique on the bottom of a test piece of mine and it’s pretty cool. Use on the inside of a piece, it is too hard to have things stick on the outside. Have a base glaze down on your piece and after you have applied the last coat sprinkle some of the chips where you want them. The wet glaze should help the chips stay in place.
