There was supposed to be a Ruby on Rails class this past week, but it was rescheduled and then cancelled. Does anyone know if it will be offered again? I was pretty excited for it, but the cancellation was last minute and not a whole lot of info was given. I’m not 100% clear on whether the whole thing was cancelled (it was supposed to be multiple weeks) or just a few of the classes.
I haven’t been able to reach the instructor, which is fine because I’m sure he has a life outside of teaching people technology on his own time. Not trying to complain here, I realize that teaching a class at DMS is very involved and that it’s done on a volunteer basis. I’m just bummed out and looking for more info - if it’s just a lack of time and resources I would love to help organize or do whatever else.
Does anyone on the SDC know what happened or whether this will come up again?
