Ok, new blade is in. we are operational again. (9:41 PM Jul2017).
If fit breaks - report it.
I showed the 3 people in my lathe class how to weld it, so at least more people know how.

Yes. Or there were. We cut the old blade up into a bunch of 10-12" pieces.
Yes. Even the one we welded can silmply be re-broken for practice
