I don’t know what printer you should use, but some people use XTC-3D for post-printing finishing when smoothness is important.

Smoothing 3D prints?

In November 2014, @hardsuit posted a link to a product that supposedly smooths 3D prints by coating them. Has anyone tried this product?

XTC-3D - Anyone tried it?

XTC-3D looks cool, but has anyone tried this stuff (e.g. for PLA prints)? Is it worth it? People have mentioned this before, but nobody here has said they’ve tried it. We used to have some, but it seems it’s gone off to a better place… If you’ve tried it, let me know! [image]
