The two main things I would like for us to do, if there is sufficient interest, would be a visit to the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, and a visit to the new AREVA medical isotopes facility in Plano. If there are other suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
Meanwhile, the Atomic Heritage Project has created some virtual tours of Manhattan Project sites, which may be of interest. As I understand it, these are at least partly intended as preparatory material for people who are actually going to visit, so that they will get the most out of the experience.
