David (@David_Walker) and Randy coordinated a great RC event last Saturday. David is trying to fill the vacuum left from Mike’s Hobby Shop closing by setting up weekly Saturday RC races in the back parking lot. It really was a blast to watch and I appreciated very much David letting me take his place in the Truck Race. We had many racers show up, with a variety of cars. Our largest group race being 8 cars strong. I shot a bit of video and merged it together on my phone. I hope you enjoy, and if you are wondering what the wooden thing hanging over the track is, it is a transponder system which keeps track of the car’s lap times and position in the race.
