VECTOR Committee Meeting - 10/15/2015 @ 7pm

All members and interested parties please attend our quarterly and election meeting on Thursday, October 15th at 7pm. Fabulous snacks and refreshments will, naturally, be provided. :smile:

I will be running for chairman of VECTOR for the next term. I submitted the following list of personal goals to the board for their consideration:

  • serve as a technical resource & point of contact for all on-site project development
  • facilitate ongoing member projects and ensure progress is continually being made
  • onboard new projects in a timely and equitable manner for all DMS members
  • organize and keep the work area clean
  • continue the development of new preservation techniques such as hybridized systems and glass repair
  • create a museum display of vintage technology for future PR events
  • promote the Dallas Makerspace at multiple national events and online forums
  • use social media to promote our members and their work
  • create areas of fun interactive entertainment during DMS special events
