I see my Timex Sinclair 1000 pic…

I bought a Kaypro luggable intending to make it my initial diskette imager. It did not come with any diskettes. I bought one set off of eBay, but it was apparently not the right one for that particular model. I bought another set but have not had time to try it.

The ultimate is to eventually build something interfaced via USB which can read/write/format 5 1/4", 3 1/2" and 8" media and handle all of the oddball formats like Apple ][, Commodore 64 and early Macintosh.

From the Truth in Advertising Department, I am working on a Python cross compiler hosted by a Windows or DOS PC generating a binary image to be transferred to a 6502 machine or emulator. It will not compile natively on a 6502 nor is it an interpreter running on said machine.

I can do that. What in particular are you seeking?

When you’re ready, care to do an editorial on your cross compiler for the newsletter?

Could be anything from highlighting the process you went through on developing it, to how to installing and running the cross compiler. Your call.
