I’d like to use the vacuum chamber/pot (not chamber pot!) for an experiment using my own vacuum pump (basically identical to the existing pump).
Do I need to be certified to use it under these circumstances? I owned the big freeze dryer, know my way around vacuum and I’m reasonably certain I’m not goIng to bork anything. No solvents (or any other liquids, for that matter).
Technically there is training required on the vacuum chambers, but if you already know your way around and @Starreyedgirl doesn’t have a problem with it you might be able to meet up her or another instructor and get a quick one on one to get your qualification.
I don’t mind giving you a one on one at all. However, we had a minor family issue and are leaving town on Saturday. It may be possible for me to come up sometime tomorrow or possibly Saturday morning on our way out of town. What availability do you have?
I tried to head off the adolescents early on. Easy to anticipate because I’m one of them. I’m 48 but only like 15 in my head most days. That gene is carried on the Y chromosome.
