Where in the space might I find a UV light to cure the glue to fix a windshield chip?
I was gonna suggest maybe good ole fashion sunlight as well, unless there is a reason that won’t work or isn’t feasible.
Also, maybe if just for future reference:
I was just thinking of him when I read this. He had us park vehicles out in sun so UV would cure it.
I joke but it’s legitimately what I use 90% of the time to cure UV stuff. I only bought a UV curing station for when the weather decides to not cooperate for weeks at a time
Thanks all. Well, I was wanting to work on the car later in the evenings so I’d have to wait for the sun to come up, and run the risk of dew/condensation - didn’t know if that would moisture would impair the repair while it’s uncured. With my luck I’d get a bug stuck in it or a partial cat paw print. It’s just a chip I wanna patch up to help get the car sold, so I’m not wanting to replace the windshield. I dug up a little UV light thing from a screen protector kit that had liquid adhesive…will try that.
