I just realized that my Talk user name and my user name are not the same. Is this normal and can merge the two? They are attached to the same email address.
On a side note what account do i need to use to log into DMS Members wifi at the space.
User names do not have to be the same.
Emails do not have to be the same.
If emails are the same you can use the members only sections as the system will detect you are a member.
So you are good to go.
My moniker and user name are different. So, I guess you could call it “normal”.
After some time has passed (a few days?) it becomes nearly impossible to change a Discourse moniker. You may be stuck with @beard_n_brain (or creating a new account).
The WiFi login should match your account (which should also match your JUMP login).
Can you explain what you mean by “members only sections?” I just became a member today. Thanks!

If you used the same email to sign up for both Dallas Makerspace and Talk, then you will (eventually) automatically get access to the members only sections. Those sections are not visible to non-members or Google Search.
