Use of Aluminum miter saw

Im working on a project where I will need to cut some 80/20 aluminum to size. How do I get training and access to the aluminum miter saw in the Machine Shop?

I noticed the saw is back and (I hope) operational.

Jules,

Any of the numerous regulars can give you the training in about ten minutes. Almost every evening there is one or more of us around. I expect to be in tomorrow late afternoon/evening. So if I see you then, I can do it. But many other can also. The training is short and so, doesn’t require an appointment. Also, you can be trained on the cold saw at that time.

All good, I swing by today and was shown the ropes. Love the camaraderie and willingness to help. I snagged the guy about to do the surface grinding class :slight_smile:

Glad you found some help with that. That fellow giving a surface grinder class was probably Paul Morley, a very stalwart member.
