Urgent need for laser cutter help

Hi there,

I’m getting married on Sunday and am in kind of a bind with some materials I made when I was in Boston. I cut out guest’s names from 1/8" thick white acrylic to be at their seats.

What I’m looking for: Someone who can help me lasercut a file on 1/8" white acrylic by Friday.

I can provide the materials (if needed) and files to cut, I would just need someone who is familiar with the printer and has a membership to do the cutting for me. I would be willing to pay you for any time and materials used.

Please let me know if this may be possible.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials
Thank you for thinking of us for your laser needs.
However, we are not a tool rental facility nor do we cut on spec.
You sound like you have laser operating experience.
Please consider becoming a member.
This week we have two offerings of Laser 101 - Thunder Nova Basics which will certify you to operate three of our lasers. Neither are full at the time of this writing and one starts at 7pm tonight.

The Dallas area does have commercial laser cutters who will perform the work for you, which is a more appropriate choice.

In the off-chance that a Laser-certified member would want to make your cuts for a fee, I am re-categorizing this topic to “MakerTrade”.
