This project has bee on a work table between 3dFab and the ELab for several months.
What is it and to whom does it belong?
I’d say off to storage purgatory. @Team_Logistics
Damn. I haven’t seen a DIN rail in use since my last job circa 2004 where they still had the occasional hand-wired controller for one-off jobs they couldn’t shoehorn one of the standard PCB controllers into or the oddball old-school RMA from the field.
Looks like a good start for a Warhammer 40K wargaming terrain board.
I wonder if it belongs to the folks that have been building the big 3D printer.
Inverter, battery charger, “smart battery project” - going to guess something that’s offgrid-ish.
Pretty sure it predates the shutdown, so might belong to a no-longer-a-member type.
I’m with Jim. PURGATORY next time Pearce is there.
Another possibility - someone dropped it all off as a donation to the ELab. We’ve had boxes of electronic stuff dropped off near the ELab entrance. No notes, no request for receipt.
Propose the following - Storage Purgatory for one month. No one claims it, becomes an ELab donation.
I’ll second that.
I don’t think committees can lay claim to abandoned projects. @Team_Logistics what say you?
Abandoned or donation?
This is the question.
If it were a donation, it seems like the chair would know
Nope not in all cases. People drop shit by all the time.
Yeah, this.
Have had at least 3 drop offs in the past ~12 months. Multiple boxes of stuff.
