Two-tone grout in mosaic using icing bag

I was thinking about using multiple colors of blue grout for my mosaic, and was wondering if anyone had tried using the icing bag technique and had tips /tricks.
Thanks!

Sorry to be off topic … but is the peacock piece a bead “mosaic”? Because, well, OMG!!

Looks to be restringing beads to create the image. Very cool and great eye for color.

It’s actually a “diamond painting”

When I saw them promoting/selling the “diamond” paintings at the Funky Finds show, it looked like a bazillion rhinestones.

Wow. Sorta like paint-by-numbers with rhinestones. Awesome!

What do you envision for the mosaic frame?

My wife does Diamond Dotz like crazy. Also some sticker puzzles as well.

Where did you purchase this kit?

I got this one from amazon

The beads in the first pic are being inserted in the mosaic for a touch of color amidst the black glass.

Update-
Finished grouting the mosaic around the frame that I cut on the laser

My dual color icing Piping Bag technique did not work, so I had to pipe in the colors separately and smear them together. I am happy with how it turned out, though

Wow, I made a mess. :joy:
