I just might be interested.

  1. Does it have a good parallel port?

  2. How is the current battery life?

  3. Do you have any software like a Windows XP disk that comes with it?

1.) No its not that old, recommend usb- parallel adapter if needed.
2 ) about 2-3 hours, replacements are dirt cheap on eBay.
3.) No I could “aquire” a copy of xp, vista, 7 and install it if you wanted.

Mitch,

  1. That’s okay - I can purpose this for something else just as important.

  2. That is better battery life than my newer ASUS, so good enough

  3. My idea is to keep the 80 GB drive with Ubuntu, but I can purchase a larger SSD drive at my expense, install and go from there
