I’m very interested in learning how to fix lasers machines, but it will be very difficult for me to make it to todays meeting. How I can get more info about it if I don’t get to go to the meeting??
You can attend any of the monthly Laser Committee meetings. The second half of each meeting is devoted to cleaning the Laser area, including the lasers themselves. You can get hands-on experience this way. It would take a while for you to get to the point where you’re formally cleared to work on the lasers in terms of lens and mirror cleaning, belts, gantry or stepper motors, exhaust venting, blower maintenance, or any work on the Fusion or Zing.
Come be an active part of ‘Team Laser’! Regularly attending monthly Laser committee meetings is the first step!
