The Design 2 Part show is coming to Gaylord Texan Convention Center in Grapevine on Feb 26th & 27th. It’s a convention that bills itself as the “Largest Design & Contract Manufacturing Show in Texas.” It’s free for makers, I believe, but you have to register in advance.
I’ve been twice. It’s filled with vendors of all kinds, and it’s a great place to go to learn about injection molding, stamping, design, extrusion, prototyping, finishing, CNC manufacturing, and so on.

Thank you for sharing this!
I went to the website.
If you register, admission is free!
Yay!
Just wanted to bump this post to the top of the heap so people see it.
It’s on my schedule. I’m going to try to do the Weds one.
I saw a few members there.
And what was everyone’s impression of the show? It was a bit larger than the last time I went 2 years ago.
A lot of CNC shops with lots of samples. It’s what I do so I tend to just meh over those. Not anything too impressive except for some of the obvious 5 axis work. My stuff is too small to farm out though. Good place to find springs and fastener vendors though. I made a contact with a foam and rubber vendor for some stuff I need. It was nice talking to the Epilog rep. I really like going to trade shows.
cheers!
