I call the class “Malcolm get’s his groove back” and hopefully he puts it on the calendar next time lol.
We’ll be doing a test run of the standard TIG welding class description below:
Class will cover the basic TIG welding process and operation of the Miller 280 TIG Welder.
Class will cover:
- The basic setup, operation and maintenance of the Lincoln TIG welder.
- Welding Steel(NOT Aluminum, there is a different class for that)
Tips for setting up and welding your projects
Class is limited to DMS Members, with a maximum of 8 participants. “Sitting in” or “just listening” is not permitted.
Cost of the class is $30.00.
All proceeds go to DMS Metal shop for materials and supplies.
Please wear natural fiber clothing with long sleeves and long pants without cuffs. Closed toes shoes are also required. Long hair needs to be secured. You need to bring your own safety equipment, gloves (leather, preferably Tillman or Lincoln TIG gloves), Safety Glasses, Natural Fiber (NOT stretch or paper!). Bring your own hood/gloves etc if you have them, if not I can offer advice on what to buy or we can use what we can find from DMS.
