I was looking to do a bit of practice welding and couldn’t locate any of the collet/cups. Are any provided or should we bring our own?
Anyone know of any off-brand compatible with the CK20 before I drop too much at weldmonger?
The cup keeps getting lost, so I haven’t bothered putting another one on, so bring your own for now.
You don’t have to buy CK Worldwide brand. Anything that is for a 9 or 20 TIG torch will work. Weldmonger has a section on their site to figure out what you need.
Just make sure the collet and gas lens/collet body are the same size for the tungsten.
The policy has always been bring your own if you can, DMS tries (but sometimes fails) to provide the torch consumables. When I was teaching classes weekly I’d always leave the torch ready to go on a Saturday and it would be broken about 50% of the time before the next Saturday.
