Ticket email issues

The Technology Team noticed that accounts.dallasmakerspace.org was not sending out emails for password resets and other tickets. We updated the accounts.dallasmakerspace.org email account and reconfigured the accounts system (WHMCS) to start generating emails again. Unfortunately restarting this process is causing the email between WHMCS and accounts.dallasmakerspace.org to resync causing all many old tickets to repopulate in WHMCS. We are working to archive ticket emails older than a couple of months and then resync WHMCS . We have also temporarily disabled outbound emails from WHMCS while we’re cleaning up. We apologize for any confusion if you have received emails from old tickets.

Hey all,

Some of you may have noticed sudden unexpected responses to old tickets in your inbox.

Our ticketing system need to be re-hooked up with the email account, and had the side affect of trying to re-reply to every email ever sent… Any responses can be safely ignored. This was not a hack, nor was any ticketing relating to charging actually going to charge you again/etc - just WHMCS being a pain.
