I have a shorter version of this in my garage. What are your thoughts on using this type of design for angle grinders in the repainted and redesigned Metal shop?

Seems functional,
Possible edge case issues, will it hold a grinder without a wheel or guard? As that looks like what is holding it. Also, any ideas for cord management? could be as simple as wrap cords around grinder.
Here is a very similar design, but adds a place to do some branding on the CNC Plasma Table. Plus these fancy sheet metal holders could make the wood shop guys jelly.
Seems like any kind of a holder would require a disk to be on the grinder, what about emptying some of the rarely used drawers and putting the grinders in a drawer. I keep mine in a drawer because I have virtually no unused wall space.
And if we hang them we need a plate on the wall to protect it from dings and smudge marks from the cords
