science can put them in the dumpster if they don’t want them as easily as I can
CRC is a classic and most of the content in there remains good. Searchable digital tables are obviously more handy but CRC charges a pretty penny per seat for a subcription.
I won one of those as “outstanding chemistry undergraduate freshman of the year” while in high school.
I suspect that the 1st edition safety handbook from 1967 might be more outdated as safety rules and regulations tend to change a lot more than physical constants and chemical properties.
I’ll flip through both of them and take a look. I believe that there was a major revision around the 70th edition in terms of the handbook with more topics covered and some reorganization to make things easier to find.
I have both one of the small format, onion skin paper editions, and a newer, full size version. While I don’t grab them as often as I used to, The older, smaller format one is still my first choice to grab.
I have tried to find a copy of CRC Mathematics handbook, and even the library here doesn’t have it available…

I need to but I may have an 80s vintage one I can give you. You’d have to pay postage for it.
I’m seriously interested!!
what would the postage be?
