A question was posed last month regarding the usage of wadding in our glaze firings. Typically we would prefer that you bisque the items along with your greenware piece so that we do not have unfired items going into a glaze kiln.
However, we have agreed that a few pea sized items (wadding), can be used. You must provide your own cookie, no stilts/ceramics pins inserted, and the piece is stable and not wobbly.
The Kiln Team will review on a case by case basis.
