Memorial Park is only about 1000’ x 1000’ or ~1400’ corner-to-corner so I suspect something smaller scale than 2016 is called for.

The 2016 Slingfest set a new Slingfest distance record for 800 feet (Paul Sanders, Lavaca Arkansas, I think) so 1000 feet might actually be workable.
Our longest shot (the one that didn’t break) was 705 feet.
Bigger issue might be azimuth accuracy …

Great question! I have the impression the Trebuchet Team was interseted in member input, not looky-lou input at the time. Wonder if we’d be OK to move it to non-members only…

No, Slingfest was well before someone went through and changed almost everything to members only.
