The cruel-bus rides again!

That would be a violation of Thunderdome Ii & III accords, which ensure proper treatment of prisoners. Not to mention a waste of meat, which is surely in short supply in the wastelands.

Capture and release I suppose is a better use of time and resources.

I think Walter was advocating Catch and Cook.

Well it is an efficient use of limited resources.

BTW, the hounds donā€™t care if their meat is cooked if the hunters donā€™t have a taste for long pigā€¦

Wait until you catch the latest episode of Rick & Morty. Not exactly catch and eat.

Camp for the week. This here is now considered Texas soil. And the plot next to us because they werenā€™t here and I had an extra flag

Are you guys flying a drone for the photos.

Iā€™ve done that before ! great fun! not in the states or from a carā€¦it changes from ā€œfunā€ to something else when you get shot at tho (same goes for getting shot at in a helicopter)

Nope, no drones allowed. I was on top of a stage made of pallet racking for our neighbors called the Nuclear Bombshells, a burlesque show.

We sold access to the cruel-bus roof top as VIP seats for the shows since we were directly across from them and had a great view

Jackrabbit hunting in a pickup using a shot gun going across a plowed field - once. Head beaten severely on door frame (explains a lot) and donā€™t think I could have hit it with a mini-gun for all the bouncing. The other hares just high-pawed other other at the edge of the field.

Pearce! You DOG!!! Way to go!!!

For future reference, are dirigibles allowed? Itā€™s my understanding that Helium-filled dirigibles is one of the best/most reliable/most stable ways to get ā€œaerialā€ shots. Could be fun to do up a Cruel Craft airship for such events, if allowedā€¦

Hahaha probably not. They donā€™t want them falling on peopleā€™s heads

But they do want propane canister explosions!

I believe that was filed under rapid unscheduled disassembly

 I think kites are even less predictable than dirigibles, but I like the ideaā€¦
EDIT: kites are likely cheaper, for ā€œnot Pearceā€™s applicationā€ and almost certainly less controversialā€¦

Interesting video about this event

Kites, are actually much safer the quadcopter like drones, because the ā€˜wingā€™ brings a parachute like effect. Well unless the lines/knots carrying the load give wayā€¦

As far as expense, it is about on par with consumer dronesā€¦

Example Rig

Picavet suspension

One type of kit that can be used

And a couple of example shots

Well after seeing the video, Iā€™m beginning to think the only acceptable ā€œdroneā€ would be a hydrogen-filled dirigible (with the ability, of course, to allow the camera to parachute to safety).
