So I looks like RDWorks is not able to export the files to the laser. It says sent but when you go to the laser it doesnt show any new files
Try unplugging cable from computer to Thunder and then re-connecting. That helps/cures this sometimes.
Also, looking a the live camera view, there might be some people in the vicinity that can offer some help.
Also, always a good idea to tag appropriate team for shut-out s like this: @Team_Laser
I unplunged it and pluged it back in and nothing changed. Also I looked and havent seen anyone around that knew more than I did
Hi Katelyn, sorry to hear youâre having problems accessing Big Thunder. Please open a trouble ticket on Talk and someone from Team Laser will hopefully be able to take a look at it tonight. Holiday weekend, so no guarantees.
How do I do that?
I am almost never on talk.
Sure Katelyn, no problem.
-
Create a new Talk post by clicking on the âNew Topicâ button.
-
Then, notice the field in the upper right side of the new topic screen where the term âuncategorizedâ is listed. Thatâs a âdrop-downâ box where you can scroll down and select the category âissues and requestsâ. Do so.
-
Once you select that option, just follow the on-screen instructions for entering the issue details.
Thank you for pointing out this issue.
Scott
Katelyn rebooted everything twice. Reset button was pressed a bunch of times. It beeped a bunch. I think itâs working now.
Thanks for the update Matt.
I posted in the Issue thread, but you probably need to delete some/all of the files stored locally on the laser. Once there are 100 files it wonât take any more.
Very good to know. Thank you.
To clear the files stored on the laser, use the control panel on the laser:
- Select Files
- Right arrow, scroll to Other, enter
- Scroll to Delete All, enter.
I think thatâs it. Should be close enough.
Iâll verify when I look on the laser tomorrow.
The other option:
In RDWorks, you can START a job by clicking Start.(lower right)
âGo Scaleâ does a Frame.
