Just wanted to recognize @EthanWestern for his effort and hard work out in the heat today to kick-off the first of what we all hope will be many hands-on knife-making classes.
Ethan and a select number of blacksmithing specialists (special call-out to our Blacksmithing SME Will Frary of the Grapevine Blacksmith Shop who taught today’s class on how to forge a knife out of a railroad spike) went out of their way today to haul out a whole bunch of very heavy blacksmithing equipment, teach a class, and then put it all back up in the trailer, only to have to do it all over again on Sunday for Open Forge day.
Ethan, pulling everything together today and spending your valuable time, effort and energy to teach a bunch of newbies about blacksmithing and knifemaking is very much appreciated. Thank you!
