Temperature sensors

Hello,

Does the Electroncics lab have temperature sensors we can use with a Raspberry Pi?

Don’t think ELab has any.

Not that it helps right now but Sparkfun and Adafruit have a good selection. (currently building a garden monitor)

Thanks @tmc4242 and @Lampy. I want to start using my new Rasberry Pi W but don’t want to invest any money until I know I like working with it (I know, cheap). So I figured I would try and use some of the makerspace stuff to see if I enjoy programming and tinkering with the stuff…

There were some sensor kits from Seed Studio. Not sure if they are in the cabinets.

You can make thermocouples with either of the spot welders at DMS. They are more accurate and durable than a thermistor. Here are some notes:
