A friend in another forum asked if DMS offers welding classes open to teens.
I suspect a member and likely accompany said teen to class ( or take the class as well. )
Is that correct ?
(this applies to our heavy machinery like welders and plasma)
For 16-17, training class and operation must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
For <=15, special approval is required fr the chair or vice chair.
For the other tools, like sheet metal, cutting, and abrasives the general DMS rules on age apply.
